About Penny

Hi – I’m Penny. Mum, wife, tea drinker, WI member, crochet addict, radio lover and traveller!

Every since I first lost myself inside a Rough Guide I’ve been an avid traveller. Over the years I’ve flown all the way around the world and been to places as varied as New Zealand, Vancouver, Hong Kong, Helsinki and Swindon!

It’s not all about the destination though, as I also love different modes of transport and to me getting somewhere is part of the adventure. I’ve a soft spot for train travel, but I’m also keen to travel by as many different means as possible.

Sometimes I travel alone. Sometimes with my husband Bonn. And sometimes as a family. Between us we have a fifteen year old, a nine year old, a seven year old train addict and also Tube Baby who was born in November 2018!

My plan is for this blog to document all my travel adventures, big and small. I hope you come along for the journey. If you want to see more of my life in general – including crafts, family fun and all about my pregnancy then also head over to Penny Blogs.
